Rc Super Cars Top 3 List

Super Rc Cars Top Three

What separates a super car from a regular rc car? Well for starters how bout the speed difference just the power behind the wheels. While a super car can sometimes exceed speeds of 100 mph a regular rc car can do no more than 50. It's not just speed that sets these cars apart it. There are other factors including technology some rc cars are capable of hooking up to your iphone letting you use your phone to steer. Check out the rc super cars list below.

1.Silverlit Mercedes-Benz Sls Amg- What makes this car top dog is the technology. Like I said it's not all about speed don't get me wrong going 100 plus mph would be a blast. As for me controlling a car on asphalt at those kinds of speeds can be quite the task. For the pretty penny your going to pay for these super rc cars I would rather not destroying my car in one crash. Now the Silverlit Mercedes has that capability to let you drive and upload music via ios. The sound quality in the speakers are great they produce very good quality sound. To think all of that at the touch of your finger on your phone. Not only does this powerful machine have the technology to impress anyone it has speeds of 40 plus mph that's pretty incredible if you ask me. Oh yea did I mention this car is great for beginners the price is a great deal for what you get a true rc super car. Silverlit Bluetooth Mercedes SLS Remote Controlled Vehicle, 1:16 Scale
2.Traxxas XO-1 Super Car- This rc super car is one that will impress everyone from it's sleek and stylish look down to pure horsepower. This rc car is the one that can exceed 100 mph that's just unreal. Now even though you cant control this car with your iphone you can however sync it to view live stats like mph, engine temperature things of that nature. It can go 0-60 in 2.3 seconds that's impressive what sounds even more impressive is that getting up to 100 mph only take's 4.92 seconds. All though this car is a bit on the more expensive end it is well worth it most would put it first on the rc super car list but it all depends on what you prefer. That's why it takes second place on my top 3 rc super car list. Traxxas 6407 1/7 X0-1 100+MPH 4WD Ready-to-Run Supercar (Colors may vary)

3.Rustler XL-5- As always in rc car action you want the best bang for your buck and something that's going to last. Well this super car take's third place on my top three for a couple reasons. It's extremely reliable and great for beginners just looking to broaden there skills. The power really helps this car excel with a strong motor and higher torque waterproof servo this off road vehicle really stands out and you will always hear good things I have yet met someone that hasn't had one good thing to say about the Rustler XL-5.  With speeds over 35 mph at a outstanding price you cant go wrong this car is a top seller. The only down fall the rc car has is being two wheel drive. If they would make a 4x4 version this car would be unstoppable considering unlock most this super car is waterproof allowing you to tear up any terrain. I voted this third on my list because of the reliability and the dollar factor like I said I believe it's the best bang for your buck.  Traxxas RTR 1/10 Rustler with Water Proof XL-5 RTR and 7 Cell Battery with Charger

Flying like an eagle

Soaring The Rc Acton Sky's, just think about it would you like to fly an airplane maybe something jet powered get the chance to soar the Rc Action Sky's. Well with today's remote controls your possibilities are endless. Flying is becoming so popular with the wide range of models and styles there's something out there for just about everyone.
From electric engines all the way to small imitation combustion engines just depends on the type of flying that
best suits you. One of the most popular types of flying is the video piloting (first person view) this is so cool. Its like your in the aircraft. Hows this done? What you do is take a small video camera and television transmitter and attach them to your aircraft. When flying you will be streaming live feed either through video goggles or a portable screen. In doing this you no longer look at the actual rc model you fly using the live video input.
Thats why this post is titles Flying Like An Eagle with the first person viewing its like you the pilot
and allows you to have the utmost fun and excitement out of your aircraft. Thanks for soaring the rc action sky's be sure to stay tuned for more posts in the rc action world.

You Get The Drift Rc Car Action

  Drifting At Its Finest

Kicking it sideways drifting in the rc car action world. In this post were gonna take some baby steps that later on will help you in a bigger picture. After that its up to you to take what you have read and put it to the test.
The First Turn It takes more than just a car and driver to really drift you have to have a set of tires to maximize your cars performance and many other parts as well in the Rc Car Action world of drifting. There are all kinds of different compounds used in tires figure out whats best for you. Once you got this figured out its time to take it to the track. Start by just doing what you normally would do going up to a turn but remember the faster you go the more stable your car will be at the apex point. As soon as you hit the apex gas it give it more throttle so that the back tires of the car break lose causing your car to slide when this happens make sure to counter steer the car back to straight and gas then gas away. In doing this action you finished your first step into drifting.
The Next Step So now that you made it past step one try taking on step two. Go into the same turn you previously tried this will also be a stepping stone to taking on a S curve. When going into the turn this time don't break then turn I want you to do it all in one motion when entering this will also kick the back end sideways this is known as a "drift swing". Counter steer again but be sure to keep the front end of your car angled just slightly toward the inside wall of the track. Once you get the hang of this method for starting your drift you can use it on s curves that means maintaining your drift from turn to turn. The faster you can hit a turn and keep your car under control the more momentum you will have allowing you to keep your drift going. When exiting your first turn you almost have to over steer then counter back to switch directions of your drift. The more graceful you can be while sending out the most white smoke will differently help your score with the judges.
As Your Skill Increases  Now that your really starting to make your move into the drifting world. Your really getting the hang of it at this point start making small tweaks to your cars. Maybe something as small as going with a softer suspension can really help.
Take on "twin drifting" once your a master at drifting. What is twin drifting? This is when two cars are drifting almost side by side around a turn at the same time. Doesn't sound to hard but you have to stick to your drift line there's no line for mistake.
You Get The Drift Overall I would say try anything and everything and take in as much knowledge as you can. The limits are sky high and waiting for you to stretch your cars. Remember to keep control and know the balance of your car hope this helped in optimizing your drifting performance.

                                                       Happy Valentines Day...

Off Road Racing The Leap

The Big Jump Off Road Racing

In my last post I talked about on road racing and some tips. With this post were going to do a complete 360 and go off road for a bit. I'm gonna hit some topics that I feel will help you to step up your game.

Preparing For The Off Road Race

Taking a look at the bigger picture is what this is all about. Most people think well as long as I can drive
i'm good to go and in most cases i'm not one to argue that point. Double checking over all your equipment
and making sure that the maintenance along with every part is up to key for race day is apart of that big picture. Along with making sure you know the Off Road Racing track and the conditions your racing in.
Practice that's probably the biggest factor in this kind of hobbie. I would say getting out and hitting a track maybe 3 times a week even running laps around your yard helps before a race. But hitting the track will allow a better practice course helping you to take your rc car action further,

The Starting Gate

When you first start out of the gate it may be hard to get a decent jump on the rest of the pack. The anticipation can get the best of us. If you can get a head at the start try to distance your self from the other cars so that your not
subjected to a collision. For the first turn try to get the inside line then find your groove. If at the start you don't get a jump on the other guys then relax don't try to gun it for the outside line take a step back and find your spot on the inside going outside is a disaster waiting to happen. Try to listen and really feel the start of the off road rc car race visualize the first turn and take the lead.

Playing Cat and Mouse

With today's drivers racing off road the skill level is impeccable and there is no margin for error. When in the lead some tend to slap it into cruise control a little to early and that's when other drivers make there move. With that being said you need to maintain your lead with out being to risky you don't want to get caught.
Now for the mouse game trying to catch up can be pain at this point your going to be driving very aggressively taking more risks thank you normally would. This may mean pulling every trick out of the bag, Everyone knows you have to drive faster to catch up but if you can take that corner a little faster or make a couple single jumps into a double or triple all the little things will shave the distance between you and the leader.

Quick Technique Tip For Taking The Jump

Off road racing takes tons of technique which you will always hear me say. One of the biggest facts is jumping its one of the hardest skills for drivers to really grasp onto. It seems simple for every action has an equal and opposite reaction just keep that in mind.
Now when you take that leap off the jump hitting your breaks can cause the nose of your car to dive down "nose down" this is because your slowing the forward wheel speed. To have the opposite reaction and balance out your car your going to need to give it a little throttle to regain that moment in the wheel speed in doing this your cars nose will then raise back up "nose up". For landing your going to want to keep your car
angled just enough to get that extra boost when coming down the other side of the jump setting you up perfect for the next big leap. That's all for off road racing just take the leap.

On Road Rc Car Racing

  Rc Car Action

The Overview Well lets start off by saying thanks for reading as starting off takes time to attract readers. With thatbeing said in this post i'm gonna keep it small. Were gonna talk about On Road Rc Car Racing in today's rc car action world and some key points to really hit when taking on any course and some techniques to help you improve your driving.
Rc Car Action Gripping The Pavement On road rc car racing action is one of the most vast environments used today whether it be your drive way a school parking lot its used by many rc enthusiasts. From racing to drifting but lets focus on rc car racing its growing and growing fast with tracks nation wide. With that being said you don't become a skilled driver by putting around the yard or up and down your drive way it takes practice. The easiest way is to make a course a closed course with cones or whatever things you have laying around the house. A simple approach is all that's needed just start by taking your items and placing them opposite each other about 10 - 15 yards apart "only two cones needed". Start by just going on an oval and keeping as close as you can to the cones when cornering. In doing this you will gain maximum control on turns.Once you seem to get the motions under control start mixing it up a bit start making figure eights. Maybe if your confident start adding more objects to take on.These are just some small examples of easy setups that allows a great starting point at gaining control and maximizing your rc car racing action.
Techniques To Grasp Always keep an eye on whats in front the peak of the car is whats important. When cornering there's only one way to put it slow and steady in and gas it like a bat out of hell coming out. Right before you come into a corner just as the turn is about to hit start to break nice and easy easing into a coast then as you hit the mid way towards the opposite side of the turn throttle it hard trying to gain control and stick to the best line for your car. Whats the best line that all depends on your cars handling and your driving a lot of drivers will say the outside line is best because you can dive down into a turn keeping more speed but if your car can grip the track and really stick you can maintain a low line at ease. Knowing how your car reacts to breaking is nice to know as well. How much of the load is forced to the front causing the back to be light which then could cause it to slide can be a huge factor and knowing how to counteract this will up your skill level to a whole knew world. If you can learn how to counter steer your car and control the weight load then you can set your sights on drifting turns taking you into different rc car action world. Think your confident in your driving and are set to take it to the course and match up with other drivers? Then Take Off and let the rc car action world see what you bring to the table.
Just remember to always look ahead and be aware of other drivers around you thanks for reading
I hope you enjoyed this take on Rc Car Racing.

Feel free to comment an help me improve my blog so I can give you my readers exactly what they want.

                                                                Happy Driving

Breaking Into The Rc Car World

Short Buyers Guide

If your just now breaking into the rc car world then there's probably a lot of questions your looking
to get answered and things you should know before you buy. Rc cars can bring lots of fun for all ages
and that's what I would say attracts tons of people to the hobbie. If your on a strict budget and are not
looking to spend a whole lot that's just fine with today's market you can get ready to run products as low as $150.00.

What To look For Simple But Sweet

I'm gonna break down into bullet form some parts I feel are important to know when first buying. That doesn't limit your research just helps to narrow it down.

  • Scales
  • Maintenance
  • Running Time
  • Nitro/Electric
  • On or Off Road

Scales

Take a look at the different size rc cars there's such a wide variety. From 1/32 all the way to 1/8 scale from cars as little as a dvd case to cars with weed eater engine that can pull a small child around. Its important to know what size you want that will depend on your price range as well considering the bigger you go the more expensive it gets.

Maintenance

Down to pretty much all nitro rc cars have to be broken in as far as the engine. Regular engine and air filter maintenance is required as well just like a real car. With the higher speeds of 60+ your gonna crash and break some parts so be prepared to fix and maintain your car regularly to keep it in good running condition.
Now electric cars still require maintenance maybe not as much there more just plug charge and play. But that doesn't leave out the fact that your gonna need to keep batteries charged and keep clear of dirt and grass etc. Overall its all about keeping your car clean and when you break something fix it to keep your car running running.

Running Time

Running time should be something you look at as well how long are you able to play with your new toy before charging it or having to refill the gas tank. If your running an electric car batteries can last between
10min and 25min. They can take up to 8 hours to fully charge so I would recommend keeping extras charged up and ready to rock. With nitro cars it all depends on the tank size and how much fuel you have.
Tanks can last anywhere from 15min to 45min. You have to factor in how hard you run your car or truck as well.

With the other two bullets i'm not gonna go into much detail just look into what you really want on road or off road its pretty self explanatory from there on out. Whether you choose a car or truck I would say your going to have a blast breaking into the rc car world.

Thanks for your time feel free to leave comments and what you would like to hear on my blog.

Lets Talk Rc Car Action

Rc car action in today's society is very versatile. From rock crawlers all the way to cars setup to drift and race. Now being that there is such a big market and a wide variety of companies trying to get there product out there things can get pricey. I'm talking from chump change to your next actual automobile.
  Rc Car Action Drifting Anyone?
I would have to say that one of the fastest growing portions in today's rc car action is drifting. Maybe its the fact that drifting a remote control car is easier than drifting an actual car but it takes technique and trigger timing. At higher speeds needing to maintain control and be steady behind the wheel can be a bit tricky when any touch can offset the balance of the car at any moment. Its definitely an exciting part of the rc universe and if your looking to get into a hobbie take a peak into the drifting world it might be the right fit for you.
Rock Crawling Rc Car Action Take A Peak Now lets switch it up a bit and take it off road to enter another realm of the rc world. This kind of rc car action is sky rocketing and so is rock crawling into today's society. Vehicles can range from monster trucks to your everyday trail rig whatever it is that suits you. All though it doesn't take the technique that drifting does its a thrill and there are so many enthusiasts out there due to the expansion of this part of the industry.
With that being said its just a small portion of the rc car action in today's society. We have barely even started to chip at the ice. Id'e say take a whack and see whats best for you in the rc car action world.
